In collaboration with Mori Design, a local artisan specialising in timber design and craftsmanship, we transform your photographs into bespoke framed artworks that complement your home and keep the people, places and memories you treasure close for generations to come.
Where Heritage Meets Modern Craft
Larsen Photography works with an extensive range of photographic equipment, from 35mm and 120 medium-format film cameras and professional film scanners to today’s advanced digital camera systems. Our carefully curated lens collection spans generations and includes vintage lenses from Leica, Canon, Nikon, Carl Zeiss and Mamiya, with some examples approaching 100 years of age. Although many are no longer in production, these lenses produce a distinctive character—gentle tones, organic textures and beautifully imperfect qualities that modern lenses cannot easily replicate.
Modern cameras and lenses offer their own remarkable strengths, including exceptional sharpness, colour accuracy, speed and consistency. We do not believe that one is necessarily better than the other. Instead, we select the camera, film and lens combination that best complements your personal taste and the atmosphere of the occasion. Whether you prefer the nostalgic warmth of vintage film or the clean brilliance of modern digital photography, every image is thoughtfully crafted to tell your story in a way that feels uniquely yours.
